Join us in supporting the Forever Falcon Foundation! We are immensely grateful for the support from the Firelands Community and we invite you to participate in the 5th Annual Turkey Trot in Ryan Walker’s honor. Proceeds and donations from this event will go directly toward the foundation.

About the event
Our mission at the DRW Forever Falcon Foundation is to honor the memory of David Ryan Walker II, who lost his life to a drunk driver, and to provide financial support to deserving students of local area high schools near Vermilion, Ohio, as well as Bowling Green State University students. Ryan was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Firelands High School, class of 2020. He was a third-year student at BGSU. The Forever Falcon Scholarship Fund aims to promote drunk driving awareness, educate students on drunk driving laws and penalties, advocate for automotive airbag safety for rear passengers, and support academic achievement among students.
On November, 26, 2026, we are hosting our fifth annual Turkey Trot at Firelands Campus. At the trot, we will be collecting canned goods from each participant to donate to Second Harvest. We will also be hosting a benefit the night before at Salvatore’s with a…

Turkey Trot Participant
Includes entry to the 5k run or 1 mile family fun walk. Also included with your ticket is a 2024 participant tee shirt and 50% off one entree per registrant the night before at Salvatore’s.
